This 2 day course is a requirement of Nevada Medicaid and its administrators. The training covers the skills necessary to become an approved to render community-based services for PSR and BST (Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Basic Skills Training.)
Intensive Outpatient Psychiatry (IOP) is primarily for patients who suffer from substance abuse. IOP is for adults who need help and guidance of medical professions as an alternative to being supervised by a hospital or have recently been discharged from a hospital.
